Celebrate with Music

Christmas Joy is a holiday tradition at the Pikes Peak Center and will have several surprises this year under the first-year direction of Jamal Sarikoki. The 150-voice First Pres choir will be featured, along with a Christmas at the Movies segment, a special version of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and a commissioned arrangement of “O Holy Night” for orchestra and choir with Sarikoki as the baritone soloist. Join us for the show and celebrate Christmas with hope! Shows will be at 2 and 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 11 at the Pikes Peak Center.

Holiday Blues '22

The holiday season brings a time of shared joy and celebration; it's a time when we celebrate traditions with loved ones. For those experiencing life's trials and losses, the holidays may also bring an unwelcome visitor - despair. There is hope. In spite of your loss - whether a loved one, a relationship, a job, your health - there are ways to cope. Join counselor and speaker, Dee Ring Martz, at the Help for the Holiday Blues Workshop and learn ways to bring the joy back into these special times. The workshop is $5, and will be held on Monday, November 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Cathedral Room. The workshop is for those 16 years and older, and no childcare is available.
