Light and Life City Excursion - Catholic Charities

On September 28th at 10am we will head to Catholic Charities. Did you know we have a First Pres team that serves every Tuesday at Catholic Charities? We are invited to tour their facilities and services including food pantry, food service, and digital literacy. We will meet at Catholic Charities, 14 W Bijou St, Colorado Springs and Doug Rouse, the Director of Volunteer Services, will give us a personal tour at 10:00 am. Ages 13+ are welcome to attend. Here’s another fact, there’s a waiting list of those who would like to volunteer on Christmas morning! Afterwards, for those who are interested, we will find a place to grab lunch and discuss our experience

We are venturing out to Family Promise on Saturday, September 7th at 11:30 to get a tour of their new Day House. We've arranged to meet Jennifer Phillips, Family Promise’s Executive Director, for a personal tour and grabbing lunch together at Poor Richard’s (for those of you who want to join in additional fun) to discuss what we experienced. We will meet at the First Pres’ parking lot at Weber St. at 11:15 and walk to 324 N. Nevada Ave.
