Through Jesus Christ we are liberated. We are rescued and set free. Why does the world see Christianity as a straightjacket? We might have the wrong idea about freedom. Freedom is not so much the unlimited liberty to do whatever, whenever. It is the ability to do and be what we were made and intended to do and be. The freedom found in Christ beats the freedom offered by the world we live in. Jesus frees us from this present evil age and rescues us from the binding power of sin and sin’s curse.
