A. W. Tozer said, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” What you think about God changes you. What you name Jesus changes your name. God promised, all the way back in Isaiah, that if we name Jesus aright we will ourselves be renamed. You have a new identity now if you are in Christ. The old is gone; the new has come. (2 Cor 5:17) The person who names Jesus Savior and Lord is now renamed.
