Lent & Easter at First Pres

The season of Lent is a period of 40 days between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday. For us as Christ followers, it's a time of prayer, fasting and self-examination in preparation for the celebration of the resurrection of the Lord at Easter. Join us throughout April through Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday as we reflect and celebrate Jesus' resurrection.

If you have come to a new relationship with Jesus and wish to be baptized, or if you wish to celebrate your prior baptism with a public immersion, please sign up to speak with a Pastor and come to the Baptism Service on April 27 at 1 p.m.!

As we prepare our hearts for Pentecost, we invite you to 40 Days in a Spirit of Prayer—a journey of prayer, fasting, and spiritual renewal. From April 29 to June 8, we will come together as a church family to seek God’s presence, intercede for our city, and deepen our faith.
