Kids learn and grow socially by learning how to make friends and grow their communication skills by working out their own problems in an acceptable manner. They learn how to listen and follow directions and learn life skills like dental hygiene, nutrition, fire, safety, etc. We value growth in small and large muscle coordination.

Each day, kids will see God in their lives and will know just how much God loves them by engaging with Bible stories and Christian songs.

Kids come away with tangible knowledge like recognizing colors, shapes and writing their name. They learn important skills like knowing their address, phone numbers and understanding how to call “911.” Kids learn the concept of right and left, how to count from 1-20, how write the alphabet and learn it phonetically, as well as understand the concepts (over/under, up/down, first/last).

Get Set Preshcool proud to offer the Souns Early Literacy Program. We see children eager to learn and read. Souns places specifically designed and sequenced letters of our phonetic alphabet into the hands of our preschoolers. Their hands hold, play with and explore the letters. Since each letter is given only one label—the most common sound of that letter—the child slowly builds a base of letter-sound associations for the early stages of reading. Learning becomes incidental, natural and fun! Children love learning their sounds, building words and reading with the Souns Program.
