We live as dependents, fed by the hand of God. God gives what we need. (Psalm 104:27-31). All existence is contingent on the active and sustaining hand of God. He holds all things together by His will. What do you have that you have not received from God? Living in dependence on God is not constraining, but liberating. With each ounce of daily bread, our love and trust in our Father grows. Jesus said, I am the bread of life. (John 6:35) We don’t entrust our lives to an unseen spiritual force or principle, but to Jesus.
