When we fail to lift God higher, we see other "gods" begin to crowd Him out. This is the downfall of maintaining a small and overly familiar view of the Lord our God; He seems to fit in with other forces and powers in our lives as one of many. No. The Lord is God and there is no other. Let there be no gods above Him or beside Him. Lift Him Higher.
