Take Joy

Bigger Than Life - Tim McConnell

This life is not all there is. Paul is aware that his life is bigger than his natural life in this world. In fact, his life in this world is suffering. But there is life after death and that changes the way he lives. His suffering in this life only heightens his desire and thirst to be at home with the Lord after he dies. Suffering is real and should be acknowledged. We can name and lament our pain. We can also still take joy. Christ has overcome the world (John 16:33).
