Missing Pieces
One Big Body
- Jennifer Holz
Feb. 13
We are all unique. God never made two people the same. Even twins are different! God makes you a single, unique, individual person. But God also makes you and gifts you with other people in mind. You were made for others and others were made for you. We find the power and truth of that in the community of faith, when we come to church and gather together. Some of us get along easily and wonderfully! Others of us have a hard time loving one another. It is easy to love the lovable, but there is more to learn in loving the other who is different from you in big ways. You can know God has intentions in every relationship because together we are one big body of Christ, and there is joy in Christian fellowship. You can’t love and be loved by yourself; you have to come and be with others.
